I figured, it would be better to get the contact lense exam done at the cheapest place and then get the contacts online. So where could I get the cheapest exam and where could I get the cheapest contacts? Is disposables better or the ones you can wear for up to a year? Whatever is cheapest is fine but please let me know where I can get them. I think the disposables would be a waste of money cause I have to throw them away everyday…please help!!

dont buy the contacts online. You have to pay shipping or the cost is calculated in if you buy online. Best place to buy contacts is at a supermarket "club" like Costco, Sams club, BJs wholesale club, etc. You DO NOT have to be a member to use their optical shop (to buy contacts).
All you have to do is bring in a prescription from a doctor. First see if your health insurance covers eye exams (if you have insurance). Sometimes with insurance you have to pay about 30 bucks extra for contact lense exam after the eye exam is covered by the insurance.
Places like Walmart and Sears do eye exams and their prices probably arent that bad.
