Hello everyone,

I felt like I had to make a video regarding Contact Lenses & caring for our eyes. Many more people are wearing contact lenses today. They are fantastic and convenient. However, since then; more and more eye infection cases has occured.

As a Hygeine obsessed being, I am guilty in putting my own eyes in danger. We only have one pair of eyes to last us a lifetime.

So in this video, I decided to talk about contact lenses safey tips, advice and information. This is mainly geared on disposable lenses (daily, weekly, monthly & annually) or even coloured. So here are some things you can do to protect and prevent your eyes from infection. Keep them healthy! ^_^

Please take care of your eyes and don’t risk putting your eyes in danger =) Taking better care of my eyes is one of my New Years Resolutions.

if u have more questions u can ask me i work for the optical industry and closely with doctors and do CL training for more than 3 years. so im pretty good at it :)

i dont know where u live but if u live in the states, u need to get an eye exam and the doctor will ask what kinda lense you prefer to wear (dailies, monthlies, biweeklies) after that doctor will dispense some trial pairs for you to wear and some training on how to clean, put on, or take off ur lenses. After that you’ll be asked to come back for follow up check usually 1-2 weeks after and dr. will determine whether those trials are fitting well or not.

My left eye got …
My left eye got infected twice and the opthalmologist suggested I stick to my glasses instead OR buy the daily disposable ones. It was so weird cause half a day went by without me feeling anything, then suddenly my eye got really sore, like it kept letting out tears that really stung my eye.

Wearing glasses is nice but sometimes it’s really just convenient if I didn’t wear them. Plus I feel a lot more confident.

When I was wearing contacts I was very meticulous, but my eye got infected anyway.

Last year in summer …
Last year in summer I got to try contact lenses, but I couldn’t get it out of my eye fast enough, so I couldn’t wear them to school. Than I stopped practicing (sp?). But now I wanna try it again because I barrely can see in my classes if I sit in the back haha, and I don’t want to wear my glasses to school.
